How to remove a log on password in Windows xp Home and Pro

If you have Windows xp Home, log into Safe Mode by tapping on F8, about 2 times per second, when you turn on your PC. Once in Safe Mode, click on the Administrator profile, go to Control Panel, User Accounts, open the profile you want to change and click on Remove Password. If you have win xp Pro, when you log on, click on Ctrl-Alt-Del (twice), then change the user to Administrator, click on Ok (hopefully you will not need a password) then go to Control Panel as stated above to remove the password.
